The Iranian Society of Nephrology is a non-governmental organization (NGO) operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. Its members consist of subspecialists in nephrology. The Society’s activities include organizing seminars, national and international congresses, and conferences aimed at updating the knowledge of physicians working in the fields of kidney diseases, dialysis, and transplantation. Other activities of the Society include publishing its official journal and holding specialized educational courses for physicians.
